Swift Prepaid Solutions represented the prepaid industry as an exhibitor at the 2011 International Consumer Electronic Show (CES) held in Las Vegas, Nev.
The famous annual exhibition was held from Thursday, Jan. 6 to Sunday, Jan. 9. The first CES was held in June 1967 in New York, N.Y. Since its inception, the show has been a platform for the debut of industry-changing products, from the videocassette recorder (VCR) in 1970 to the 3D HDTV in 2009.
CES exhibitors and attendees include manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, content, delivery systems and related products and services. The United States, Canada, Mexico and more than 130 other countries are represented.
2011 marked Swift’s second appearance at the show as an exhibitor and seventh overall. President and CEO Braven Imai described Swift’s role at the show as two-fold: “The CES is the largest display of innovation in the world. We’re there to bring Swift’s prepaid card and rebate solutions to an international audience. Secondly, we’re there to stay up to date on new technology that may help us enhance current offerings and add to our product options.”
Swift plans to attend next year’s CES, to be held Jan. 9 through Jan. 12, 2012 in Las Vegas.
